Text Vibration not working, Samsung S6

Hello all, everything has been going great since I got my phone last December. However, recently over the past few days I noticed that when my phone is on 'Vibrate' it doesn't vibrate for Text messages. Email, phone calls, FB Messenger, everything else works well on vibrate. I went to the Text message options to make sure vibrate was on and that option was grayed out. When I put the phone on silent or ringing then the option can be switched on/off.
Anyone face this problem before? Does it have to do with the latest update I got a few days ago? I'm missing important texts because my phone isn't vibrating.
