Why doesv't the App MoBeam work on my S7? how can i put the loyalty card info into the phone?

I see that the app is installed, I even updated the app. however, the screen does not give me any info on how to get the loyalty cards into my phone. all examples, on the internet, show how to wave the device in front of the scanner, but not how to get coupons and such on the phone?
