Is there any way I can get a free Gear VR under Samsung's June promotion?

I'm asking because I purchased my S7 Edge at the very end of May. I'm well aware that the promotion is only for June, but being the cheapo I am I find value in asking whether or not I may be able to get one. I've had a similar situation with a bank once where I opened an account but was off by a day or two from getting a $50 gift card for it.
