Why can't i download anything from the chrome and play store?

I really need your help um so i just converted a song from youtube to mp3 it fully downloads but fails i tried to go to other convert webs but still the same, it is also the same with my play store it only keeps on showing " downloading" even though my internet connection is fast and also when i tried to open my downloads from the settings it said that " android process media has stopped " so im using a zenfone max and im hoping you could help and give solutions to it thank you
