Why does my phone refuse to connect to Intuit Gopaymant every time you send an update?

A notice shows up on the phone and asks for me to allow Android to update and after it updates my card reader refuses to connect, it has happened everytime
Andriod updates. I run a business and Have no time to sit on the phone listening to music for hours just to make corrections to your update.
