What make my samsung galaxy note 2 freeze frequently and reboot itself

Why is my samsung galaxy note 2 keep freezing after I successfully booted and used it for a minute? It also reboot itself after I turn off the screen. It also shows a 'currently unable to download, please try again later' message.
