samsung error message device overheating unable to open application ..

my phone is samsung on5 when i start it .it starts normally but after few sec. it shows a message your device is overheating unable to open application you can use only phone and contact applicaton ..and also when i connect the charger it shows charging paused battery temp is too much high .plz help ..thanks in advance
