Why cant i reset my moto 2nd gen

I've tried it in my settings but the button (reset phone) is faded. I've tried power button and volume down the settings that appear there are (bp tools recovery mode but its just an android with red triangle also restart bootloader factory mode,barcodes ,qcm, bootloader logs, start , power off. PLS HELP
