Why can't I take pics or screenshots?

My phone won't take pictures or screenshots anymore. I can open the camera app and try to take a pic, but pics do not show up in my camera roll. Albums are all blank, but i can still see old pics by scrolling right from the camera app. When i try to take a screenshot i get "Can't take screenshot due to limited storage space", even though it appears i have over 100 GB of open storage space in settings. I have a 128 GB sd card, but when i try to move stuff there, again there is " not enough storage space". I cleared all my caches, deleted pics and apps, nothing worked. (Also my flashlight app disappeared but it's back now.) What is going on? Obviously, it is not true that i don't have enough storage space! How do i fix this?? Please and thank you!
