In response to a recent question, yes you very well may do.
It has not just happened to me, where they may feel I warrant it for having a previously closed account, but to some very good people.
Disregarding what it says on that hidden close account box in the Profile Settings , you can lose all your posts leaving just a history of your username/anonxxx name appearing when quoted by other people.
A handful of my posts did reappear, more to hide what they did.
It's entirely vindictive by a person or persons with the nuclear buttons (though not by the current MTL I'm sure); it's entirely disrespectful to very helpful members who didn't want to join a "club"; and leaves long term online friendships and mutual respect in tatters.
If you want to just not post any more like me, try to leave it open. If you criticise and close your account you're at their mercy.
You are correct that Android Central and Mobile Nations has a different attitude to it's business and the good old days of a learning and sharing community up to about 2015/2016 have long gone, except in a few device forums maybe.
(I would not agree with or understand your main criticisms of the writing and reviewing.)
You may not catch this before it's removed, with
too many moderators who don't check everyone's contributions, but ho - hum.
