How do I sync my Samsung Note 8 phone to my Samsung 10.1 tablet

My Note 5 phone used to sync with my tablet and my husband's S7 but since I got my Note 8, nothing its syncing. We use the google calendar. We've tried everything in the Manage Calendars and nothing works.
