New symbol appeared after phone update

Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy 8+ and my phone is showing "along the very top bar" a new symbol a "three parted triangle with an down arrow and up arrow" i cannot find the symbol anywhere else on my phone. Please someone inform me what ot might be?
