can I get my deleted photo file back?

I was taking pictures for a wedding and had to files made, one edited photos and one unedited. Somehow the original pictures got deleted. I went to file management and found the file hoping the pictures would be there but no luck. Its thier anyway i can restore the pictures? I didnt have my google set up at the time so they are not in my google photos
