Google Maps doesn't work with my phone

Program works fine with a Wi-Fi connection but not with just a phone service connection. Phone is an HTC model # 2PQ93 running Android 7.0 Carrier is iWireless which uses the Sprint network. And yes, my "mobile data" is turned on.

Anyone else having this problem? Is there a diagnostic app that I should install?
