Can Zagg Screen Protector Spray hurt Phone?

Can the screen protector spray that is used on Zagg screen protectors cause water damage to a phone? I took my phone to best buy to have the screen protector applied (suppossedly by a "professional"). Rather than just spraying the screen protector, they sprayed down the phone itself. Could this cause water damage?
