Sporadically not receiving texts from one specific contact out of hundreds.

I have one and only one contact (she is an iphone, I am galaxy S5) whose texts I sporadically do not receive out of hundreds of contacts in my phone. So infuriatingly frustrating! Has caused a lot of tension. We can send dozens that go through fine and then I do not receive one. Anyone else? Is it as simple as deleting her and adding her back in as new?
