Android Auto isn't working on my Moto Z3 Play.

It will load to my phone but not to my car. Icon just stays unlit. It worked for a week but then stopped. Any suggestions?
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that hasn't helped. I restarted the sound system in my car. It is a Kia Niro 2019.
