This has been happening for at least a month and I have had this phone for almost a year. If I get a call, I swipe to answer but it won't actually answer, it stays stuck on the on call screen. I have changed the settings so that I can tap instead of swipe and that fixed nothing.
It does not do this on every call; sometimes it's back to back or sometimes I can answer when the person calls back. At this point I'm going to try another phone app because I am missing important calls because I can't answer and the responses I have seen regarding this issue aren't relevant at all.
Also, it does this if I'm connected via Bluetooth but it also does this when I am not.
