Samsung Health - `compatibly

I have recently moved from Apple to Samsung and I am thinking of using the Samsung Health App. I have a Withings Steel HR Hybrid and was wondering whether I can sync the data from Health Mate to Samsung Health and if so how. I am not exactly an expert - definitely a novice on these things so any simple advice, instructions etc would be gratefully received.

Is there any alternative that people could recommend if syncing isn't possible?

Alternatively what heart / step tracker would someone recommend?
