What could be the course of not being able to access google play store on Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1?

Every time I access the google play store on Samsung it doesn't open. As the case, I can't update nor download anything from play store. I just need to know how can such problem be fixed so I can have a peace of mind when I access play store?
