I cant access my samsung galaxy s7 phone. It says to try again in 60 minutes.

Sometimes my finger pad doesnt work so i just use my pin to unlock my phone. But now as soon as i touch the finger pad it tells me to try again. It doesnt go to the screen to enter a pin. I cant turn it off either so Im waiting for the power to drain. Can someone help? I saw this question came up before on this forum but there wasnt an answer, just some back and forth about trolling. :(
