I had a note 4 a few years ago and really liked the phone. After it was stolen I got a galaxy S7 which I didn't like as much. So I picked up another note 4. I've set it up from my S7 using the smart switch app. Now I keep getting prompted for a software update. But after the update I get a long process of apps being updated and then the phone prompts for an update again. I believe the last iOS was 6.01? Anyone ever experienced this? Is there a problem updating an older phone from a newer one? This is the Verizon network.
