My icons are scatterd between trays

Sorry If I'm not using the right verbiage but this is really driving me crazy. All of my apps/icons are scattered between my trays. Somehow I have ended up with 14 trays and spend way too much time trying to locate and icon. Please tell me how to condense the number of trays so that my icons only show up in alphabetical order on a few. This used to be custom with Android phones and I have no idea how mine got the way the are currently.
I'm using a Galaxy S9
