New to Android need help

Hi,After 6 years i'm switching to Android to try the OS,just sold my iPhone 6+ & My New Samsung S8 is on its way.My question is should i get SD card even though the S8 has 64GB internal,i dont wanna slow my phone,should i transfer everything on SD Card?or the phone memory?What should i do or avoid on Android ??? a little guide would appreciate it :)
