Why can't i send texts after nougat update?

I live in Jamaica and recently upgraded my Verizon branded galaxy (G920V) to nougat 7.0 through Odin and now I can't send text. I can make and receive calls on the local network here(Digicel) but no sms. I see a notification saying "roaming indicator off". ANY HELP PLEASE??
