Trying to use Beboncool Bluetooth controller on chromebook with android games.

I can pair the controller over Bluetooth to ChromeOS but it will not work with any Android games. I've tried multiple games on both an Asus Flip and Samsung Chromebook Plus. Am I missing a step?
