Whitelist an app so it doesn't close automatically with the battery saver

Hi, is there a way to whitelist Spotify so it doesn't close automatically a moment after i pause the music. I actually searched and found that you have to add Spotify to the "Unmonitored apps" in "Device maintenance" (settings) but i did that and it still shuts down when i press "Optimize now". Any workaround ? Thanks !!
