I have a fairly new Lg Tribute 5 that was once in service with Boost Mobile. It works well besides one massive problem ---- when I plug in headphones that are not mass-produced by Apple, the headphones seem to mess with my phone's system software. This occurs a lot with non-Apple headphones only. One thing that happens is that wgen the headphones are in, they randomly open up the Google App without my input. Another thing that happens is the volume on my phone suddenly turns up to full power without me ever having touched the volume buttons. Finally, the phone performs commands such as stop, play, skip music, all without me actually touching the corresponding buttons. This first time this happened I was using music-altering headphones, the kind that has a microphone built into them. I switched to headphones that lack a microphone but tje aforementioned problems continued and got worse. This problem is nonexistent when I use headphones that come with a new Apple device. But those headphones hurt my ears, making them feel like they are on fire, and alsoo at timed, Apple headphones have caused zits in my ears. I can barely use my Tribute 5 for music anymore unless I use those unbearable Apple headphones. I don't know what to do, and I can't find any related problems on the Internet. Please help me.
