Can't install Android Marshmallow update on HTC One M8

I've tried to install the update ever since it became available to the HTC One M8 but every time I try to install my phone just switches off. I have tried it with full charge so I doubt it is due to that and there is plenty of storage space. Am I just being an ***** or is something wrong?
