does deleted a text message before it was sent cancel it from being sent

I sent some private images in text to an ex girlfriend of mine and took forever to send and I had a change of heart in wanting to send such images and deleted texts before they got sent will the texts still show up as being sent on her cell. Also, I think she might of changed her number so I don't know who I just sent my private images too.
