Just upgraded my S8 to Oreo and the status and navigation bars are now transparent. It's great having a full screen home screen, but with my wallpaper I can no longer read the status bar (batt%, time etc)
I have trawled Google and can't see any way of making the status bar back to how it was. Anyone else having issues with this, it's very annoying!
