And I created a new one yesterday - but now when I want to add current contacts to it, it doesn't give me an option of that group.

ES File Explorer deleted my files? how do i recover them?

*Sorry for the long story in advance*
so i came back from vacation and my mom wanted me to give her photos from the vacation (i took over 1k somehow) so i decided it would be more productive*to move the photos from my phone to my computer and then put it on a USB Flash Drive that i would give to her, so i connect my phone (Nexus 6P) to the computer but see that the folder is too big so i move half of it to a new folder*using ES FILE EXPLORER then move both of them to the Internal Storage Thing (when you connect your phone to a computer its the first set of folders you'll see), the first half works, i move it no problem, the second is empty. i check to see if i maybe didn't move it, nope i did, then i restart the phone. still missing. i enter the album app and see that the photos are missing but the album is still there but empty. i use a different album app and see that the folder with the files but when i press on a photo an error pops up and says "Cannot load photo". i look in the recycle bin in ES FILE EXPLORER, nothing there. i also see that i mysteriously have an additional 17 GB*free on my phone.

*i have 2 camera apps, Google's "Camera" and "OpenCamera". i did this for both but only realized it deleted the files for both at the very end.

so now i have half the photos i had before and have lost the majority of the vacation photos.

What can i do to recover these photos?? PLEASE HELP!

Why is samsung email app creating calendar hyperlinks?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab A and am using the default Samsung email app to manage my emails. Is there a way I can prevent the app creating automatic hyperlinks to calendar in the body text of an email?
e.g. it interprets some numbers as a time of day, or if it finds the word 'today' in the email text, it wants to create a calendar event.
Extremely annoying.

LG E988 hard reset

My LGE988 keeps shutting down with battery full and somebody told me to do hard reset after deletinc cache. I did those 2 but he is reseting after 40 minutes. I turned it off and on and it did not deleted anything. Now I hard reseted again and still the same.

Where are screenshots saved other than gallery?

When you pull down that menu where it says that the screnshot is saved, there is a Picture of the screenshot that you saved. This Picture is not from the gallery location, as when I no longer had the Picture in gallery the screenshot Notification still had the Picture on display. I was wondering, wher is this saved, from what location are Notifications taking this Picture?

Screen Constantly flashing

I have a rooted (not by me) Samsung Galaxy tab SM - T800. I gave it to my daughter who wanted to remove my stuff from it so I clicked on Factory reset. Now all that happens is that the screen constantly flashes with what appears to be the words TEAMWIN.
I have tried to switch it off; have pressed the up vol/home buttons simultaneously; I'vwe connected it to my laptop which won't recognise it.

I don't know what i can do.

Please help.

How do I find my Sony tablet password?

I have a Sony S 3.2 tablet and want to secure it with a home screen lock and get rid of unnecessary photos / downloads. In the photo gallery I have managed to delete scrapbook photos but there are still profile photos and documents which I cannot get rid of although I have attempted to many times.

When I try to carry out tasks the tablet requests an access password which I do not have. I bought the tablet without a manual and am still attempting to obtain one online. The Sony site doesn't seem helpful in this respect.

Any advice gratefully received, thanks.

I can't copy files from one phone to another

I have a MotoG 4G LTE phone and have juts bought a dual sim MotoG 3rd gen. Neither are rooted. I tried rooting the MotoG 3rd gen with Kingoo but it failed.
I am first trying to copy all of my data and contacts etc over, and for whatever reason this seems impossible to do. I've got my contacts in using Rerware's MyBackup Pro, but the SMS's won't copy for come reason.
Can anyone suggest the best backup tool to use to ensure that my data is copied over?

1) Shutting an app, 2) basic floating window 3) quick access

Q1) Am i missing the basic shut an open application button?
when any application is open, eg camera, I don't seem to be able to shut/quit the application... unless i take a longish route:
Currently I go to the button to the left of the home button. The one that allows you to view all the open apps in a layered way. Then i need to click it shut that way.
Is there not a 'quick' one-step shut this app way?
edit: oh, I've also discovered placing finger above screen on top left corner and quickly swiping down. that reduces the size of the open app. then you can select a mini-menu and then click 'quit'. But this too seems long winded and is 3 steps.

Q2) Am i missing a floating menu or something? I don't seem to be able to get a menu of basic options when i anything. is there one?

Q3) while using the internet I've managed to save something under "quick access". That's great, but how exactly do I access my 'quick access'? where is it stored? again, i feel like i'm missing a basic pop by floating menu somehow.

Why doesn't my Laptop recognize my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 ?

I've tried almost everything possible. I restarted my phone and my laptop, used a card reader, changed usb cables and downloaded softwares like smart switch and kies but nothing seems to be working. Why isn't my phone unlocking when I am in a trusted location (home)?

I have enabled trusted locations unlocking on my Samsung s6. Added my home to the list. Now I am home and my GPS is on, but when my phone locks due to inactivity it does not unlock without a password. The problem seems to be intermittent. GPS is picking up my location (map shows I am at home). What could be happening?

Some apps don't work on Oppo R9 Plus?

Hi, I was given a new Oppo R9 Plus bought from Singapore and some apps I installed were not working (different situations I will list below).

1. NBA 2k17 (game app)
I installed the apk and put the data folder in android/obb but when I open the game, it closes asap without any error message, just instantly goes back to phone desktop. When I go to task manager, app is still there.

Clearing app data/cache doesn't fix problem.

I'm not sure but (I THINK) the specs of R9 Plus are enough to play this game app.

2. Firechat (chat app)
After I sign in, it asks for verification number, after I enter that verification number, it closes automatically also without error message. When I go to task manager, app is NOT there anymore.

Clearing data will make the app work again then when I try to sign in, problem repeats.

3. Retroarch (emulator)
When I open a rom to emulate/play, app crashes. When I go to task manager, app is still there.

Clearing app data/cache doesn't fix problem.

These 3 apps so far I can't seem to make them work on my Oppo R9 Plus phone. At first, when I encountered NBA 2K17 problem, I though it was not good enough specs but I began to think of other sources of problem when Firechat and Retroarch also crashed.

Please help. Thanks.

how to re-arrange quick settings list in lock screen?

I am able to re-arrange the quick settings list that is showing after unlocking the phone, however, the list that appears when you pull down while screen is locked cannot be changed. To make it clear, I am able to add the "hotspot" tile in the unlocked screen list but cannot find it when I open this list before unlocking the screen. This tile was available in my old HTC M9 device but it's not there anymore in my new Xperia XZ with Android 6.0.1
Can I do this without rooting?

Unexpected freeze and restart of Nexus 10 tablet

Hi,

I have this trouble with the NHL app when replaying games. It suddenly freezes, makes a weird buzzing noise for 2 secs, and restarts. Only this app does it, and it seems that it always happens at the same point in the video.

I have Android 5.1.1, NHL app 8.1.3

Sim detected no service

I currently live in south Korea. I have the HTC OnePlus 2 and wanted to use it with LG U+. it will detect the sim card but i don't get any form of service. However, the odd thing is that after i restart the phone there is maybe 1 second where it detects the service provider and i get service. I have factory reset the phone and even manually put in the APN. What else can i do or is it just the phone wont work?

Navigation Bar (Including home button) not working except for back. Cannot receive calls.

This happened a few days after installing the update, I'm currently running on Android version 6.0.1, and using a Samsung Note 4.

Model number: SM-N910G
Last update: 25/10/2016

My home button and the button that usually shows me the background apps and such stopped working. However, when I spammed clicked the home button about 10 times, "Talkback" gets enabled, and I had to spam click the home button another 10 times (instead of 3, as they said it should be) to disable it, which made me think that perhaps my phone was just getting faulty. Thus I downloaded several launchers for the navigation bar, but NONE of them worked. I still could not use the home button.

Besides which, when I hold down the lock button to switch off, I only see two options now, which is 'Power off' and 'Restart' while prior to this I could switch to airplane mode and the other usual functions.

I also no longer receive notifications. Even though receiving messages and snapchats will still light up my phone screen, it won't show on the usual notification at the top. So I would not know if I received a whatsapp or facebook notification, etc. I thought this might be a problem with a launcher as well, so I have two launchers: LINE launcher and KAKAO launcher, both of which claim to show notifications for Android versions 5.0 and up, which I turned on, but still did not work.

I also have difficulty receiving calls. Every time someone calls me, it rings once and drops immediately. I still have mobile data access and can receive messages, though.

Google Voice search instead of next song?

I used to use wired earphones (JBL) on my Sony Xperia Z2, where tapping the built-in 'play' button on the earphones would pause/play the song, and double tapping would skip a song.

This is the same for my bluetooth headset (Also JBL), where tapping the play button twice skips the current song.

I recently bought wireless earphones, since my headphone jack broke and I dont feel like walking around with headphones all the time.
What I noticed though, is that when I double tap the play button on these earphones, it enables Google Voice / Google Now search instead of skipping the song.
The earphone brand is Skullcandy, by the way.

Is there a way to make it so these earphones also skip the song when double tapping the play button?

In all situations the app, Spotify, has been the same, so it's not the app itself.

I've looked around online, and all I could find were old posts regarding similar, but not the same issue.

Disable volume buttons

Hi Experts, my son usually takes my mobile to view youtube videos and play games with full volume. I installed volume locker and it works perfectly but when he presses volume buttons to increase, he can see its not increasing and causes havoc :). Is there anyway i can reduce the volume level and when he presses the volume keys, either full volume is shown or nothing is shown at all (till we disable the app afterwards)

GS7 Edge turns its sound on after receiving a call in vibrate mode

When I have my GS7 Edge set to vibrate and someone calls, it will vibrate for that call but then turn the sound back on. So, if I don't turn the phone back to vibrate, all the sounds for my phone are turned back on after one phone call, even though I had it set to vibrate in the first place. Is there a setting or button that will prevent this?

cancel download?

Hey all.

This is my first Android, and I started a download of some files I've been waiting on, but it's telling me it's going to take 7 hours. I want to know how to cancel this download?

I don't see any option to cancel, so I may have to just torn off my phone. But I don't want it to resume when I turn it back on.

Outlook contacts disappeared from Android contacts list

I have Outlook connected to Office 365. I have 1870 contacts which go into outlook and were visible in m contacts list. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. Up until today all contacts appeared in the contacts. Eg if I got an SMS The conracts name came up. However as of today, when I get an SMS the number shows but no name . For some contacts its there, but for others not. Have confirmed the contacts are in the Office 365 cloud. N new apps added recently, some updates have been performed. Anyone lose seeing this?

Hi Since setting up the pixel I keep getting this email coming through about conflicting accounts

Didn't have this problem with my nexus, I've tried the settings so as not to sync. I've tried changing the junk folder to another name but it's not working.

Do I have to download another app to get my emails? I have a Google Mail account but don't use it, mainly a just in case backup my hotmail is my main email.

S4 mini no life whatsoever

Hi, i am new to this forum so any assistance is much appreciate.

My partner has a Galaxy S4 mini i9195. She clicked a link in an email which obviously contained some malicious code as her phone started deleting apps, rearranging te home screens and the once day it finally just died.
The phone didn't appear to attempt to power up, no boot signs, icons nothing. However when plugged in to the laptop or wall charger the battery icon would appear (all grey) then disappear with no other signs of movement.
I was however able to get into recovery and download mode. I wiped cache partition and tried rebooting the phone with no success. I tried wiping/factory reset from the recovery window, but this did noting.
Last resort, i downloaded the original firmware and odin to try flash the phone completely. I connected the phone to odin through the phones download mode and Loaded the .tar.md5 firmware file to odin. Odin proceeded to install the firmware but the progress bar never budged, then it came back as a fail. Now the phone wont turn on at all, it is as if the phone has no battery, there is no life in it at all.

Please Help, any assistance is much appreciated.

Currently have Moto X second edition.
Best Buy currently has the Moto X Pure for $250 and the Honor 8 for $350.
Am looking for SD card, which both have, and improved camera performance.
Moto pros that I see: Familiarity, larger screen, grippy back (prefer to use no case), cheaper
Moto cons: Over a year old
Honor 8 Pros: newer phone, more stylized

Why is my wifi slow on a new update?

Hello, I have a J5 and I downloaded new marshmallow update 6.0.1 and it felt normal, i connected to wifi and it was as fast as before... I started to download some programs and... the download speed was terrible, before the update i would download stuff 1mbps minimal, but after i download 400kbps is maximum... Motorola tablet

My sister just gave me an old Motorola tablet, and I have signed on to Google mail
it will not allow me to download or update anything

Notifications don't disappear from status bar

I have a Galaxy S6 with Android 6.0.1

Since a few weeks, notifications don't disappear from the status bar when I touch them; e.g. a new WhatsApp message comes in, I tap on the notification, WhatsApp opens with the message.
Expected result: Notification has been automatically cleared.
Actual result: Notification remains until I clear it manually.
The issue does not only happen with WhatsApp but with about 80% of all apps (a few still work though).
I searched all forums, but I couldn't find any information about this issue. It's extremely annoying, and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Why did my phone battery jump from 19% to 46% in a matter of seconds?

Switching from iPhone to Android, phone suggestions?

Hi, This is my first time participating on the forum. I plan to be back around the future once I decide on a phone before my current one dies.

This will be my second ever Android after making a switch back from iPhone. I had the S4 and it had a lot of problems (lag, failure to hang up/answer calls, screen constantly frozen, etc) that turned me off for awhile, but I realized that it's because I didn't take care of it properly years ago (downloaded themes, widgets, etc). I can't stand my iPhone anymore, and want to switch back to Android since I'm a tech enthusiast, so naturally I want a phone I could play around with on an advanced level. I love the ability to do what I wish on my phone with a lot of possibilities. But I'm having a hard time deciding which phone I should get, as I only really know of the Galaxy series and was looking at the S5/S6. The following are some info to best help get an idea of what I'm looking for:

Country: United States

Carrier: AT&T

Price: No more than $250.

Not used for gaming. However, for streaming. Also I like phones just slightly bigger than the iPhone 5S, so I feel that the Note line isn't necessary for me.

Other considerations: Swappable batteries preferred but not required, expandable SD strongly preferred but also not required. Strong battery life required. Quick charge option would be nice but not required. Looks and durability don't matter at all since I'll be putting a case on it (Otterbox if applicable).

How can I play videos through SD card on Andriod enabled HTC One M9?

I have taken videos on FUJIFILM point & shoot camera which are stored in SD card, but on HTC One M9 phone it won't show while on phone. How do I get them to show up on phone and play them? Messed up screen

Huwawei P9 - How to disable the phone lock option?

Huawei P9, Android 6.0.

I have set the screen lock option with the fingerprint. I would like to disable this option completely, i.e. being able to fully access the phone only through the on/off single touch. Once I have turned on the lock option, I do not know how to disable it. When I disable the fingerprint, still the lock stays with password, PIN or pattern.

Any help is welcome.

How can I increase the maximum size for email signatures?

I've had a Galaxy Note 2 for a long time and never had a problem with my company's email signature (which is about 30 lines long, with legal language, etc.). I just upgraded to a Galaxy S7. Whether I copy/paste or I type the email signature from scratch, every time I get to about the 10th line and try to save it, it states that I have exceeded the maximum size limit for the email signature. I cannot believe that Samsung would have decreased the maximum size from a phone 3-4 years ago to now. I legally need this long signature on every email I send from my phone. Does anyone have any ideas? (I'd rather not get a third-party app for this). Thanks.

Force my S7 to use the 2.4GHz WiFi band?

Hi, I'm trying to get my S7 to connect with Spotify running on a ps3 which only has 2.4GHz capability. Both the 2.4 and 5GHz bands have the same network SSID to enable devices to switch between at will when moving around the house. The network controller will probably try to steer the S7 towards 5GHz but I can disable that behaviour (but I don't want to rename the different band SSIDs).

Would it cost to get my broken screen fixed on my LG K7?

My Nexus 7 froze. I turned it off but now I can't turn it back on.

Why Huawei GR3 hotspot tethering keep disconnecting?

Recently purchased a Huawei GR3. I need to use it for wifi for my laptop. I've set it up and the laptop will connect to the hotspot no problem, for maybe 15-20 minutes if it's the first use of the day. Then the connection will simply stop. My laptop says it's still connected with full signal, but Chrome or whatever will say I'm no longer connected. So I have to constantly disconnect and reconnect, turn wifi on and off etc, multiple times. It might work for a minute at the most, then disconnect again. When it does work, it is slower than dial up I had in 2004. I know it's not the laptop, because it has no trouble connecting to any other wifi, and my old Samsung Galaxy 3 can do the job as tethering hotspot no problems with the same laptop (same thing happens with my Galaxy tablet). I have already tried a factory reset, and using the USB tethering option has the same results. The problem is most definitely the phone. Any suggestions appreciated!

I have used android 'Backup &restore' ad backuped up my contact along with some installed apps and their data.

I need to restore only one app and its data. The restore does not allow me to choose which app but rather looks like it want to restore the whole backup.

Can anyone please tell me if there is any tweaking that can be done to restore only one specific app and its data.

Is there an app that allows me to take screenshots using not the usual button combination?

I switched from using the 9gag app to using the reddit app because I liked its content way better. One thing I miss tho is the possibility to save a picture to the phone and later show it to my friends.
I could do this by using the screenshot function (which is power+volume down on my xperia z1) but then all the screenshots I take from reddit would be in one gallery folder with my regular screenshots (which I don't want)
Is there an app that allows me to also take screenshots using e.g. the combination of power+volume up which then also stores them in another folder?
I have unlocked my bootloader, installed twrp and rooted my phone, so I should not be limited by that.

Why does my note4 do not power up?

I let my phone charge for one hour so the battery goes up to 100%. After, i unplug my device from the charger and let it sit during the night. In the morning, when i woke up my phone couldn't be able to boot. Now there is a black screen. I was trying to charge and boot it up. I also try to unplug the battery from the device and plug it again. I've try both of them at the same time. But the phone is not booting up.

Why isn't my nexus 6 starting ?

so i just bought the nexus 6 alot of good reviews on it, it was working perfectly fine an i was loving it for the first month. then something shocking happened. the wifi would not work it would randomly disconnect me from the internet an wouldn't allow me to even click the wifi. i said **** it an jsut used data not like i cant afford it. but something bigger started to happen. it started to crash on me time an time again. i got use it an said whatever. but now its so bad that today i was out an my phone happen to die. went home charged it tried to turn it on but what ended up happening this time was it lags to start but it wont even start it takes a full 3 mins just for it 2 get passed the starting point. then when the android starts up it doesn't even show show the screen to pop up it just goes black. but im still able to access the hard boot factory mode power over etc. plz tell me how to fix if possible.

Need help to repair charging tracks.

Hi,

I have iBall Slide Q1026, it's got physical damage from charging pin. All tracks are damages related to charging point (as per the gentleman form authorize service center). First I sent it to service station and got repaired.
After repairing I found 2 new problems.

1. Charging very slow, if battery drains it took more than 13 hours to charge.
2. Volume too low.

After that I ask local provider to fix it. He is able to fix point no. 2 and point no. 1 is partially fixed.

In case of charging : It charge only when the tablet is switch off. In switch on case it does not charge. After few days again the tablet down. No charging on my tablet.

Local provider says we don't have circuit diagram to build a track with jumpers and some time it is possible that jumper get break when we connect charger pin.

Is there any way to rebuild the track without jumper so that this problem can be fixed permanently.

Please advice me.

What is the Pre - Browser called?

I have always wanted to know how you refer to the screen with the blue top end that opens from a link or a search result (over the last year approximately).

I see you can go to menu and select Open in browser, but can you enable a setting where you go straight to Chrome or another default browser instead - always.

What Android system app controls the screen turning on when you get a notification of any kind?

I'm using Android 5.1 on a ZTE Grand X Max Plus and I use a battery saver. After wiping the cache partition my display turns on when I get a notification with no problems. After my battery saver (I've tried several with the same results) optimizes and closes any running apps that are not needed my screen no longer turns on when I get a notification. (I can hear the text or email come in but the screen does not turn on.)

My question is what system app controls the display turning on when I get a notification? I've tried searching for the answer but I'm coming up with nothing.

So I have a galaxy Note 5 and it is quite messed up at this point. So here is a little background. I was using my phone when it died on me. No big deal I'll just plug it in my car charger. So when I get home and try to turn it on I see that the LED light is stuck on in a weird purple color. So I try to turn it on, nothing happens. So I plug it in to my wall charger and I get, nothing. So now I am trying to reboot the phone using the volume key, home button, power button combo. All that happens is a vicious cycle of the phone vibrating, LED back/menu button, lighting up and then back to the frozen black screen and LED light on.

Now while the LED light was on it was slowly changing colors, not sure if that means anything. So I decide to be patient, and leave the phone plugged in overnight and then try again. Now today, all I get is no LED light unless I tap the power button, in which case the LED lights up red for the length of the power button being depressed. Any hope in salvaging this thing or is it just a very shiny paper weight at this point.

Losing WiFi connection with exclamation icon showing?

I'll be at home, connected to the WiFi network on my Android 5 phone.

Then I'll look at my phone and there'll be no internet connection and an ! exclamation mark next to the WiFi icon.

I'm still in range, haven't moved position in the room.

If I click on the WiFi icon to disconnect, then click it again to reconnect, I'm back online.

Until the problem happens again - minutes or hours later.

Not sure if it just happens on my home WiFi network as don't have access to any others ATM.

It all used to be fine, then something changed and this problem started arising. Is it my phone or my WiFi?

Any tips?

Match Criteria Missing S7 Marshmallow

I've just today upgraded from a trusty Galaxy S5 on KitKat to an S7 on Marshmallow.

When I enter in to call blocking, it appears that I can only block callers based on a full number.
The feature to match criteria was available on KitKatis but seems to be missing form Marshmallow.

Snapchat causes my phone to crash, before I have even logged in!

When I open Snapchat on my Sony Xperia X, the app runs for 5 seconds and then causes my phone to crash. It doesn't even let me log in before it crashes and causes my phone to restart.

Questions about remote control spyware, remote enable network settings?

I have a few more questions :) Can you android phone be remotely accessed/controled without a trace for the user? I am not talking about just slipping information, i mean literally if someone had installed something on my device can he like wake up my phone in the middle of the night, unlock it remotely and start messing with it? I know that some programs can allow remote access but can they boot the phone from sleeping, unlocking and so on? Also, if you turn off your wifi and mobile network, can they enable it and then access it? Will it leave trace (like if he is using program that intercepts sms, does the sms acctually arrive in your message box) If such program is installed, can it remain completely hidden? Does factory reset get rid of it? If your phone is currently not rooted can such spyware keep working (if we assume the evil person rooted it and than unrooted it) And finally if alll this is possible, can one remotely control your android (like sending a message from your android device, accessing facebook via your own phone and so on) wihtout you seeing the control itself, like your phone is locked and asleep but someone is still accessing it?

How to prevent Exchange account from syncing mails onePlus 3, 6.0.1

I added the exchange account because I want to sync the calendar. But I get the work emails in the gmail inbox. I don't want this.

I've tried removing the tick mark on "sync emails" but the emails keep coming trough.

I've used Business Calendar 2 on my previuos phone which worked fine. Exchange emails went to the native email app and gmails to the gmail app.

Actually, i have formatted sd card. From then onwards, the media files are not getting stored neither on internal storage nor sd card.

How do you disable proximity sensor on a galaxy s6?

I try playing side turning games and use the phone at night or in dark places, but every time something gets close to the sensor in the upper left, the screen turns off. It's really annoying. Apex Launcher Pro - Notification Light Won't Show

I've got the new Google Pixel phone and I enabled the blink notification light in the stock OS, and it worked fine. I have now installed Apex Launcher Pro, and now the notification lights are no longer showing.

I've tried installing light manager and light flow and disabling and re-enabling the blink light toggle, but nothing seems to be working. There are no setting within Apex that are related to the notification light, the toggle in the system settings seems to be the only way to make any changes, so I'm not sure what else I can do.

This is driving me nuts, any suggestions?

Emergency, help with black screen

Hi I have woken up to find my screen completely black, there was no incident or impact on it. It is fully charged and i can hear tetxs and ringing etc. I'm flying to Belfast tonight and my boarding passes are saved on my phone, I'm very stressed 😑. I have looked at factory resets etc but the phone screen won't come on. Please any advice would be really appreciated...

Why don't my custom icons show notification badges?

I recently downloaded the app, "awesome icons" in order to give myself the new round pixel icons. Since doing that, I've noticed that my apps don't show notification badges it's only the custom ones so I'm wondering if there was a setting I missed when setting them up or if it's just not possible to have the badges on there? I also tried making them something else just in case but still no luck. Please help. I love my custom icons but not if I can't have badges

I can't go to download mode

I have a Samsung Galaxy mini 2.
It won't boot up, since the moment I plug the battery in, without even pressing the power button it starts booting, and shortly after it reboots over and over again, without showing the Samsung logo, just vibrating. When I try to go to download mode, it reboots automatically. Is there any chance I can bring it back to life?

Does rooting unlocks everything especially 4G/LTE frequencies?

How can I transfer music and videos to my pixel xl?

In the past Android file manager worked well with my other device (RIP note 7) but this does not seem to be the case with the pixel xl. It would just crash after a copying a few songs. This is from a mac direct usb to type c connection with the pixel.

I have the T-Mobile V20 with One-Plus service, my hot spot will not activate,

Phone goes into checking service then disconnects. Strange thing is that tethering does work. I have called tech support, changed sim card and reset to factory defaults.
Any other T-Mobile V20 users seeing this issue?

Why has my text message length reduced to 70 characters? How to I get it back to 170?

My text message length has reduced from about 170 per text to 70. It seemed to happen after I altered the keyboard language from English to Polish and back to English, but that might be coincidental. I have looked at the settings menu and can't see anything that may be of help. I am =in the UK and have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 and my network is Orange (EE).

Phone Idle is draining my battety!

I've been having this issue for over a month now. I have a year old Galaxy 6S. worked wonderfully until now. I charge the phone to a full battery and even with no use, that battery is completely dead within 4-5 hours. Example, last night I charged it before bed. Turned on Power saving mode, phone was connected to wifi, blue tooth turned off, all apps closed and woke up to the phone off with no battery whatsoever. No water damage.......what gives? Phone Idle, cell standby and Android is are the main culprits. How can I go back to the way things used to be?

Google Speak activates automatically in Moto X Play. What to do ?

How do I get my Google account on your a vivo phone from China?

Why doesnt yahoomail app works on wifi?

I use yahoomail app on my samsung j5 it works fine when im on mobile data but doesn't work when im on wifi! why is it so? i also noticed that games like candy crush give trouble when you try to connect them to Facebook using wifi but they dont give any trouble when you are on mobile data.
