Why i am not getting message sound when i received new messages?

I am using lenovo vibe k5 plus.I have purchased it in online.beginning from the day I purchased the phone I have this problem.I have checked that all message settings are properly fixed.also I have tried third party apps like contacts+,chomp SMS,light flow. But of no use!!!please help me in solving this major issue.I will be very thankful!!!!!!!!
