my gallery isnt opening help!

I have an samsung Galaxy Tab 4 7.0 & each time i go to gallery .. the sign "unfortunately , the process android.process.media has stopped." but in the other apps when i open them , they are all working . ... the android version is 4.4.2 i dont know if it needs to be uprgraded or sum ... n also the gallery version is 4.4.2 what do i do ???
