Why do I no longer receive notifications?

Apps that I have and utilize everyday that used to receive notifications but no longer (after only maybe 2-3 weeks of ownership):

Arlo
ESPN
Facebook Messenger
XBox Live
YouTube
etc.

Hell, it looks like the only things I receive notifications for are text messages and calls now. What gives??? The watch looks nice but it's pretty much lost its sole purpose for me.
