Ghost app switch on P9 Lite?

So I am using a provider P9 (Vodafone) via a discount thanks to my entrance to their service. I haven't rooted the phone or anything, it's 100% legit and this problem has been happening since the first boot.

So as many know, provider phones tend to have custom boot animation so as to remind you or something the company you bought the phone from. I don't know if they made changes to the UI though, since there don't seem to be any differences as the OEM, thankfully.

The main problem is that, whichever app I use or even at the home screen, the system will lag for a bit then recover, this happens for no longer than half a second, but when I am typing for example, it gets annoying, or even some games. After noticing that the brightness decreases slightly when launching Chrome, I notice the brightness increasing for that time span and then recovering, causing the same lag. This makes YouTube automatically pause a video without indication.

The occurrence of this depends on the backround processes at that moment. For example when I am outside with no connection, after I come home and it connects to the WiFi thus starting to recieve many notifications, this happens almost non-stop. Or when Google updates 9 apps at a time, this gets annoying, really. All in all, it behaves as if an app was drawn over the app currectly used and then immediately close.

Would a factory reset fix this problem? Or do I have to contact my provider? Thanks in advance.
