I'm having an authentication problem with my Acer Iconia tablet.

My Acer Iconia tablet has given my nothing but great performance right out of the box when I bought it in January of this. Just this morning, it had take a notion not to recognize me. My internet in the tablet out, as is the games and other pages. This was when I became aware of the authentication problem. I went back to where I bought it, and I thought I had it fixed; but when I looked at again tonight, the pie wedge is still empty.

I'm wondering if you recommend a) a hard reset or b) resetting to the factory reset and starting all over again?
