Galaxy S6 calendar hard to read

i just installed the Android Nougat 7.0 on my Galaxy S6 and the calendar is hard to read. All my events are there but i can barely see them unless I go to them individually. At a glance they are so dim I can't see them. Any suggestions? The last version was much better!
