Galaxy S6 Verizon can't open files like movie box or shoebox to download??

Ok just got a Verizon Samsung galaxy s6 and I tried to download movie box.apk and shoebox.apk from internet like I always have with my android phones but it downloads the file and when I go to open it it says CANT OPEN FILE ?? Anybody know why or help to fix this
