lg g vista proximity sensor problem

i have a lg g vista and its cracked over the proximity sensor so when i call someone the screen goes black and wibt come back on tjll the person hangs up so i cant press dial pad or speaker or any of that. there isnt a option in settibgs to turn it off. and ive tried apps and nothing works. please if you have any information share
