Galaxy S-4, S-Memo's gone/missing

Galaxy S-4, and my S-Memo's are gone. I tried settings, Samsung account and everything was synced and still, no more memo's! Not sure where to go from here. Is there a recovery from the card? Do I need to go to my service provider and see if they can retrieve?
