How do i find my downloaded images from the internet on my phone?

I have never been able to find the images (aka memes) I've downloaded off the internet. But I was always able to share the image after the download was complete and I received the notification. I would immediately tap on the notification and it would bring up the image. Now that I have down this latest update, one ui, I cant even do that. Any suggestions?
