New headphones after 3 months not working on moto phones

I was using Moto G4 mobile phone. I purchased new philips headphones, the headphones was good but it stopped working between 3-4 months. I thought its a headphone problem so i went and got new headphone in exchange. The new exchanged headphone worked again around 3-4 months then i visited service centre and they said headphone is not compatible with cellphone. I changed my cellphone to Moto X4 and purchased again new philips headphone because i liked the sound of it. Again same issue happened but this time i bought JBL Headphones just to avoid the same issue again. JBL headphones were working fine from past 6 months into samsung device but when i started using for moto X4 it again got damaged automatically after 3 months. Please suggest some fix to this. I dont have enough money for buying headphones
