Pixel 2 Showing Email Addresses as Contacts

I just got a Pixel 2 after borrowing a Galaxy S8 for a week or so after my trusty Lumia 950 died. I configured my Office 365 account like I have on dozens of phones, including the S8 last week. My contacts are displaying in my contacts list as expected, BUT, so are hundreds of email addresses I don't have saved. Upon closer inspection, they are all email addresses I have emailed in the past that will pop up as a suggestion in Outlook, even though they aren't saved or associated with a saved contact. This has never happened with any platform or OS in the past. How do I filter them out??
