problems with Live Transcribe on my new S10

I am able to install Live Transcribe on my new S10 but it does not recognize voice. The blue dot in the upper right shows that it is receiving sound but the screen remains blank with the microphone icon showing. So far Google disability-support has been unable to find a solution despite escalating to a higher level. My question is - has anybody gotten Live Transcribe to work on an S10?
