I cannot figure out how to give my contacts a specific text message notification sound

I've assigned my contact a ring tone, but we used to be able to assign a message tone as well. Can anyone help? I seemed to have lost it when I upgraded from my Galaxy s7 Edge to the Galaxy S8. Thank you!
