S7 wi-fi issues on nougat

Downloaded nougat yesterday and apart from a few notification issues and gmail not syncing, the main problem appears to be that my S7 will not connect to existing Wi-Fi accounts. It states "failed to obtain IP address". Does anyone know how to solve this please ?
