htc desire 626 battery with "!" need help

I've had my phone since Nov.13 2015 and for the past few days when I plug it up to charge the light will be red but after a while the light starts to blink and when I unlock my phone the battery symbol is light grey with an "!" In it, the phones not damaged at all and during the day I'm hardly on it can someone help me please?
