Hi, today when I went to unlock my phone I typed my password incorrectly and it said I had to wait 20 seconds before I could try again.
Shouldnt this only happen if there are 5 failed attempts?
Could this have been a a glitch? I changed the language of my phone last night so could that have caused it?
Also, are these '5 attemps' in a row or acumulated over time, so say for example I typed the password incorrectly 4 times in the past few months then today it was the 5th time, is this what caused the lock out?
Noone else was using my phone and it had been in my pocked the whole time leading up to me using it so I definitely hadn't typed the password 5 times incorrectly in a row.
Another thing is that I didnt get the pop up saying that I had to wait 20 seconds, on the lock screen itself the timer started up.
thanks in advance
