Why is message blocking active on my metro pcs phone and how do i cut it off

I got my phone 2 weeks ago. Been working fine. But now all the sudden it has message blocking active on it and i didnt do it. My friend larry cant text me and i cant text him. Wtf? Thanks.....Amy Methvin
